"This resort has been badly damaged by the hurricane and was extremely noisy due to heavy construction from 8 am until 6 pm daily (except Sunday). There are no phones or televisions in the room so you have to get dressed and go to the front desk for any assistance you may need. I did not get the rest I needed. The furniture was not comfortable so I was forced to spend more time than I wanted to on the beach instead of in my room. And the weather was unusually cold and it rained 2 days.

I was eaten alive by mosquitoes. The units are somewhat open air and we had numerous mosquitoes in our bathroom and even under our mosquito net at night. I received over 50 mosquito bites at this resort, and my husband received quite a few as well. We were absolutely miserable.

We loved the palapas on the beach and the service that we received. On days that we didn't do a particular activity, we could relax, put up our little blue flag and receive instant service with a smile. I loved doing the stand up water boarding and using the water taxis. Everyone was so so friendly!!!!

Two actually. Booked whale watching tour with Caborey for 2/4/12. Saw a lot of gray and humpback whales plus some "rare in this location" orcas. Also saw some dolphin. Booked trip with CaboSkyTours for an ultralight experience. Really great pilot, great views.

Staff was wonderful, location was super plenty to do right in walking distance on the beach or casino. Bus and boats took you to other side of island no need to rent a car.
