Nice cozy resort with pool right off of the lobby. Grandkids love the water slide. This resort does not charge a resort fee, just the mandatory state of Hawaii accommodation tax. request an upper floor so that you do not have to hear people walking above but it is not all that bad if you are on a lower floor. Small kids tend to take loud steps - I guess I am getting to old to tolerate.

It was a nice resort but the pool was closed two days during our week stay. The staff members were helpful. It was nice to have shuttle bus going to different shops and nearby Hilton resorts. Local restaurants were not so impressive and expensive. Kona did not offer too much sightseeing sites.

Our stay was amazing!! The staff were very accommodating and professional. The rooms were spotless! Beds a 10 out of 10!! Views were amazing!! Location was fantastic!! Will definitely return!! Special mention to Val and Kerrie!!! They were so helpful!!

Lovely resort. Loved our nice condo. Very large, especially the master bedroom and bathroom combination Great location. Shuttle service was really a plus. Would love to come again.

First week near Kona on big island was excellent at Hilton Grand Vacation Club. Wonderful room, amenities, nearby beaches.
Second week at Valley Isle in Kahana, Maui had a great view of the ocean. We saw whales and turtles. The beach right at the resort wasn't the best, but was OK (dropped off to deeper water quickly). There were plenty of great beaches nearby however in Kaanapali. The room did not have AC, but we were fine without it due to breezes and fans in the unit (we were on the tenth floor, unit 1005).
All in all, we had a fantastic two weeks in the Hawaiian Islands.

Condo at HGVC Waikoloa was A+. Granite in kitchen, furniture comfortable, bed very comfortable,
bathrooms clean, a/c worked very well, etc. One of the nicest condos I have stayed in since I have been trading timeshares. Even artwork was extremely nice.
