The people at Kauai Coast Resort did everything we asked of them and more. The place is not grand and real fancy with snooty staff, instead it was exactly what we wanted - very nice grounds, great staff, great location, and great room!

The location in Kapaa was convenient in that usually we stay at Poipu or occasionally at Princeville. So this gave us a chance to explore the central part of the island at a more leisurely pace. Overall, however, we like our own unit at The Point at Poipu much better.

The Kauai Coast Resort at Beachboy is a great facility... one of the few that are actually on the beach. It is also centrally located in Kauai, making it easy to drive to all the points of interest around the island within an hour.

The pools and rooms would be nicer if they were a little more updated. Everyone who works there was super nice. The restaurat was amazing ad the waitresses were very friendly as well. I love the poolside bar - that was fun. It was really great that they had a kids pool as well. It was a very fun vacation. We will be back!

i was very pleased with the resort and would or will go back again. i needed a cutting board and shower mat and the person in charge drove into town and got them both that day. extremely well stocked room and very clean. the resort was so quiet and peaceful and the pool and hot tub were great.

The resort is beautiful and our room was up-to-date and well kept. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Being able to use the main Hilton resort and all of its amenities was also a nice touch. We rented a car in Kona and then were able to do a slew of local activities: submarine, snorkelling, groceries at Walmart / Target, etc. Keep in mind you're 35-40 minutes each way in to Kona and back.

The staff was very helpful. They had a text message thread that I could send at any time and the entire staff read it; someone always responded promptly. The room had a lovely view of the golf course and was clean and well appointed. The pools were extraordinary and we two 70-something’s used waterslides with glee.

Excellent week. Beautiful view on the golf course, enjoyed my coffee in the morning on the terrace while watching the golfers, very cosy one bedroom, beautiful bathroom, very confortable bed, very clean everywhere, very friendly staff, esp. reception. Loved the golf courses and the shuttle to the shops. I'd love to come back.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous. From the begin to the end the staff were friendly, helpful and wonderful people. The room was beautiful and the king bed was perfect. However, it is time to change the mattress as it was lumpy and uncomfortable. The amenities of 5 pools, snack place and various singers and dancers were incredible! We even drive over to the other resort and saw the dolphins, turtles and some fish! Our family would definitely return to the resort as well as recommend it! Thankyou for making our vacation so lovely! With gratitude

Beautiful Resort, friendly employees, nice bartenders, great property. Got an excellent discount to golf as well! Not as close to the ocean as I wanted but everything you need is close. The 1 Bedroom unit was large and spacious. We would definitely recommend.

The resort was great. The resort was clean and nest well planned. The personal were kind, friendly and helpfull.The only problem was the other "guests". Loud, crude and very sellfish. After visiting Waikoloa dozen of times this was by far the most unenjoyable trip only becouse of the other "guests".

Nice cozy resort with pool right off of the lobby. Grandkids love the water slide. This resort does not charge a resort fee, just the mandatory state of Hawaii accommodation tax. request an upper floor so that you do not have to hear people walking above but it is not all that bad if you are on a lower floor. Small kids tend to take loud steps - I guess I am getting to old to tolerate.

It was a nice resort but the pool was closed two days during our week stay. The staff members were helpful. It was nice to have shuttle bus going to different shops and nearby Hilton resorts. Local restaurants were not so impressive and expensive. Kona did not offer too much sightseeing sites.

First week near Kona on big island was excellent at Hilton Grand Vacation Club. Wonderful room, amenities, nearby beaches. Second week at Valley Isle in Kahana, Maui had a great view of the ocean. We saw whales and turtles. The beach right at the resort wasn't the best, but was OK (dropped off to deeper water quickly). There were plenty of great beaches nearby however in Kaanapali. The room did not have AC, but we were fine without it due to breezes and fans in the unit (we were on the tenth floor, unit 1005). All in all, we had a fantastic two weeks in the Hawaiian Islands.

Condo at HGVC Waikoloa was A+. Granite in kitchen, furniture comfortable, bed very comfortable, bathrooms clean, a/c worked very well, etc. One of the nicest condos I have stayed in since I have been trading timeshares. Even artwork was extremely nice.

The resort is nice with a pool, and pool restaurant, and bar. The staff was very accommodating! The rental unit we had was spacious with two bedrooms a full kitchen, living area, two bathrooms, and patio. The rental is quite dated! we were startled out of bed at 3AM with a fire alarm going off. (Low Battery) and we had a cockroach in the kitchen that the resort staff sent exterminators to spray the area.

Good Value. Not beachfront (few places are on the big island) but a clean and well run complex on a bluff overlooking a golf course. It was out of Kona so quiet. Most rooms do not have a view. Bar-restaurant is good but understaffed. Pools were full. Surprised they added an arbitrary $11/night timeshare tax to our bill that was prepaid through SFX.

Grounds are lovely and location of the resort is good. Nice views of golf course and ocean. Size of unit is excellent. Spacious, good accommodations. Kitchen was well stocked. AC fee is high but the AC's work well. Wi-fi access was very good and I very much appreciated having this access for free plus no access code, etc. The lanai was wonderfully equipped. Garage access was nice as well.

We enjoyed the Resort and it's location . It was easy to get to everything we wanted to do. The staff was great and we did get a water view condo.
