We had a very nice stay at the Point at Poipu. Very roomy and comfortable, and we saw whales from our condo. Nice grounds and walking trails to beaches nearby. Nice adults only hot tub, and good bar-b-ques. A couple of not so great things was the kitchen, which had old appliances and pots and pans, and the knives were extremely dull. Also, they charged a $40/night resort fee, plus tax, that added $500 to our week. A developer is building houses in front of our building (building 3) so the view of the ocean will be partially obstructed when they’re done. In spite of those things, I’d go back there.

Very clean and quiet resort with beautifully manicured grounds. The pool bar makes great drinks and decent food at reasonable prices. The rooms are spacious and clean even if they are a bit dated (units are in process of renovation). Staff is very friendly and responsive and the resort is right in the middle of many fun places in Poipu. Would stay here again.

We had a great time and the resort is pretty nice. It is a little dated for the area but well worth the exchange. The resort is rather large so depending on which building or floor you get, it could be a little ways form the parking lot. We were in building 2 on the first floor so it couldn't have been easier. We were back from the ocean on the property but we still had excellent ocean views and even had views of the sunrise. This was my second time there and our room for our first stay was not as convienient nor did it have the amazing views we got this time. The staff was great and the pools were lovely. I felt really comfortable at the Point at Poipu.

Spacious and clean, just very dated. Didn't spend any time at the pool, but it looked nice! Good location for exploring the south coast and Waimea region.

Ok but not great. We had a room without any view. An accessible room. We asked for a change but were they were full. Not true. We were told by others (owners) that they were able to change.
They charge a resort fee and it’s not much of a resort. Very old and tired.

Check-in was great. We arrived early. We had perishables with us after shopping at Costco. They stored our luggage, our perishables and then texted us when our room was ready early! The young man who checked us in went above and beyond to bring us our luggage and food when we arrived to get our room key cards. We loved our room with a balcony and view of the ocean. The pool and Jacuzzi were wonderful. Great location near Shipwreck Beach and the hiking trail along the coast to the Makauwahi Cave Reserve. The only "fly in the ointment" was I parked in a fire zone. The way the cone was placed I thought I had room to park where I parked. The next day the lady that was waiting for me that had placed a tow warning on the windshield was very rude and glaring at me. She certainly could have been more diplomatic and still got the message across that I was parked in the wrong place and not to park there again.

Resort is very nice and we had an ocean view. However, at the time if booking I was not informed of the almost $500 additional charge for staying at that particular Hilton. I stayed at another Hilton on the Big Island, which I love., and charged a much smaller additional fee. I was quite upset, to say the least, and would have chosen a different resort had I known. When I got my confirmation letter it was stated in very tiny letters at the bottom of the page, which I did not notice. Will not stay there again. 🥲

the resort is lovely but they really should not give out the room that have 100% view on the construction out Lanai was feet away and looking at it was not very nice

Point at Poipu manager was very pleasant and helpful. She advised us the resort could not accommodate us for some unexpected reason. She gave us a letter of transfer to a near-by resort, Whalers' Cove. We were in unit # 130. It was truly wonderful. A spectacular veranda right above the breakers. The grounds were like paradise. We were overjoyed!

The unit was wonderful, as was the view.
I was startled tho, that having been assessed $25 a day, we still had to rent beach chairs and trek for beach towels. My home resorts provide these in unit, as well as coolers.

My husband left his shoulder bag in the handicap parking area of building 9. He called the desk and they connected him to Housekeeping. The bag was retrieved and we received a call within 10 minutes. So relieved. We left a nice tip for Housekeeping plus some in our rooms..

The amenities in the rooms were nice. Loved the cleaning/tidy, the wi-fi, the kitchen supplies, and the gorgeous sheets. Pools were really special.
