My second time staying at Manhattan Club and I had a great time. The location couldn’t be more convenient — easy walking distance to Broadway, Central Park, Times Square (if that’s your thing) and wonderful Bryant Park. The staff were all wonderful, my suite was spotless, and the bed ensured very restful sleep. The lounge and business centre were much appreciated and the gym was a pleasant surprise which I would have used had I not worn myself out walking everywhere. I’d be very happy to stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the colours of Central Park. My wife has some very professional pictures of the park. I always enjoy the Broadway plays, the shopping, the cuisine and so forth. New York City is unique.

The biggest plus is the location of the hotel, close to the theater district. On the minus side, the bed was too soft and the room, while large, was dark and old

Both my wife and I are handicapped. We were place in a handicapped accessible room to accommodate our mobility scooters. All personnel were there to assist us in whatever we needed.

Bathtub drain lever did not work, had to manually lift tub drain plug up with fingers. Sofa sleeper-uncomfortable, too lumpy, felt springs underneath. Given board to place under mattress,which helped and used several layers of blankets to smooth out. Night light not working on hair dryer in the bathroom.

The housekeeper that we had the first few days was great! She apparently took pride in her work. When she was done everything was in its place and all amenities were replaced regularly (which was not the case the last two days when she was off work). She even asked us what kind of coffee (decaf or regular) we preferred and doubled our preference rather than providing us one of each type. We wanted to leave her a tip but were unable to get her name from the desk.
