Accommodations were very nice. The restaurants seemed overpriced, I suppose because they were trying to entice guests to choose the all inclusive program. Wifi was also quite high priced. We attended a time share presentation in order to reduce that cost. There was some noise in the evenings from party boats coming into the marina.

We really enjoy Mazatlan because it is a real Mexican city that happens to have tourism. The locals are great and there is a variety of things to do in this beautiful colonial Mexican city. In addition we enjoy the El CID Marina because of the staff and the people who stay at the Marina.

Showed 2 movies 2 evenings right in front of our balcony. Lovely grounds. Offered a beautiful sunset cruise Had a really warm pool and a relly cold one to choose from. Played a few games around the pool.

The staff was friendly and helpful in most cases. The property overall is clean however the resort is in need of a facelift. The property is looking dated. The chairs at the pools were not clean, there were bird droppings on many of them. The air conditioning in our condo was not able to be regulated properly, it was freezing cold - we did ask for maintenance - the only solution was to alternate turning one unit off at a time so the condo would warm up. The kitchen is fairly well equipped however a fork, 2 saucers, 1 salad plate were missing & there were only 2 wine glasses. We were shocked that the units are not decorated at all - not a single picture on the walls, no accessories. We had to ask for a Do Not Disturb hanger for the door. A lite bulb was burnt out in one of the lamps in the bedroom when we arrived - I called & it was replaced - this should have been checked/changed prior to guests arrival. I was very pleased with this trip and would love to bring my parents to visit this resort. El Cid Marina needs to install a handicap ramp to allow handicapped visitors to use the 2nd floor dinning room.

We were never told, until we got there, that they under construction. They are a time share and would only let members have the ocean view rooms. There was very few trips from resort to view Mazatlan. We liked Mazatlan but you are quite a ways from town so needed some sort of transportation to go into town. The resorts restaurant, which was only one, was very good and we enjoyed the waiters and other workers there. Front office personal were not willing to accommodate you if you aren't a member. We will not go there again if we are in Mazatlan.

We particulary like the small resort feeling you get at the Sea Garden. Everything; pool, beach, bar, etc., is easily accessible. Also the staff at the Sea Garden are extremely helpful, friendly, and accomodating. Also transportation to Mazatlan is very efficient and accessible.

I enjoyed the music the most especially Andres Zazueta who sings like Josh Grobin!!! Also the music in the Kelly's lounge was very nice.
The resort is absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed the different pools especially the smaller pools for adults.
The waiters Jesus, Jose and Roman were always welcoming and made me feel at home even if they were busy.
It was very nice to have a church service on the veranda on Sunday. The priest gave a meaningful message and the interpreter did an excellent job.

The staff and food at the resort were outstanding! The rooms were very tired and need a complete update. the bathroom vanities were cracked the tile floors were cracked but the rooms were clean and the pool and surrounding areas were beautiful.
