Throughly enjoyed our stay at ElCid Marina Resort. Our one bedroom suite overlooked the marina. Quite ad relaxing. The housekeeping staff were outstanding. Each clean and beautiful. Location was perfect for us.

Accommodations were very nice. The restaurants seemed overpriced, I suppose because they were trying to entice guests to choose the all inclusive program. Wifi was also quite high priced. We attended a time share presentation in order to reduce that cost. There was some noise in the evenings from party boats coming into the marina.

We really enjoy Mazatlan because it is a real Mexican city that happens to have tourism. The locals are great and there is a variety of things to do in this beautiful colonial Mexican city. In addition we enjoy the El CID Marina because of the staff and the people who stay at the Marina.

Showed 2 movies 2 evenings right in front of our balcony. Lovely grounds. Offered a beautiful sunset cruise Had a really warm pool and a relly cold one to choose from. Played a few games around the pool.

The staff was friendly and helpful in most cases. The property overall is clean however the resort is in need of a facelift. The property is looking dated. The chairs at the pools were not clean, there were bird droppings on many of them. The air conditioning in our condo was not able to be regulated properly, it was freezing cold - we did ask for maintenance - the only solution was to alternate turning one unit off at a time so the condo would warm up. The kitchen is fairly well equipped however a fork, 2 saucers, 1 salad plate were missing & there were only 2 wine glasses. We were shocked that the units are not decorated at all - not a single picture on the walls, no accessories. We had to ask for a Do Not Disturb hanger for the door. A lite bulb was burnt out in one of the lamps in the bedroom when we arrived - I called & it was replaced - this should have been checked/changed prior to guests arrival. The towels and bath amenities were good as was the bedding. The food/dri

I was very pleased with this trip and would love to bring my parents to visit this resort. El Cid Marina needs to install a handicap ramp to allow handicapped visitors to use the 2nd floor dinning room.
