Beautiful resort just 13 minutes outside of downtown Cabo San Lucas. Fabulous pool area that offers beautiful views of the beach and great lionge chairs on the beach as well. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped with cooking and eating utensils. The staff was friendly, courteous and attentive.

The room when we arrived left a lot to be desired. Looked like the room hadn’t been used in some time. The freezer portion of the motel type refrigerator was frozen solid. The room was on the first floor with heavy foot traffic going by. When I mentioned the issue to the front desk they got us another room which was fantastic. The staff is the best. Our room was cleaned daily. The ground’s are beautiful. Our 2 week stay was delightful.

I own a timeshare there and first week was with timeshare and second week was through SFX exchange. No room with a view. Had to argue and get moved to a closer building. The food and beverages are outrageously expensive. I’ve been going to HDM since 1999. I think this is my last trip there.
Beautiful resort and great staff but they only cater to new people they think they can get to buy or upgrade a timeshare.

Vacation at Hacienda Del Mar Los Cabo Resort.
We had a WONDERFUL week. We had a 3-bedroom 3 bath in building 37 room 3725.
We had everything we needed and a view of the ocean.
The room definitely needs to be updated but we really did not have any complaints about the room. The restaurants are pricey. We hope to go back
next year.

The property was very pretty, very clean and well maintained. The staff was fantastic- always very helpful and attentive. My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely trip to the Cactus spa where we had a Wonderful 80 min. Message and enjoyed the spa amenities- hot tub, steam room, dry sauna and relaxation area. We used pool service everyday for drinks and lunch - a bit slow sometimes and pricy I thought.

Amazing kind, professional, helpful, smiling staff. From the first moment you arrive they make you feel like a VIP and even part of their family. Room was adequate, pool area lovely. One complaint I do have is the quality and the price of food available. Cost of all food and drinks were very high yet the quality was mediocre at best. Its a shame. We ended up renting a car and left resort for better fare elsewhere

I absolutely LOVE this resort but I have increasing concerns about the attitudes of the staff at the Hacienda. The check-in experience -- and in general -- the front desk staff were not welcoming, not pleasant and just so distracted and aloof. The bell men are actually quite nice, upbeat, and engage you in friendly conversation. I have no issue with them. The service at the Gerasoles restaurant is incredibly slow, way too laid back, and little to no follow-up once food is served. Waiting on refills, etc. Another favorite of mine is their Tomatoes Restaurant. I love to have breakfast each day of my vacation there. I have increasingly noticed there too that they are rushing around, cleaning tables, hurrying here and hurrying there, but end up lacking in customer service. Some of them are excellent, but in general I feel walk away feeling the experience was quantity of people served over quality. And lastly, the waiters at the pool area are awful. Not friendly. The staff at hotel were helpful and polite especially the people on the grounds, pool, maintenance and restaurants. I like the fact you can use the Hot tube spa by the pools anytime from sunup to 9pm. I like to get up early and heat up these old bones and not have to wait till 8 or 9am. The Tequila Volleyball game at the pool was fun and the Tomatoes Restaurant had a great view.

The resort was in an excellent location, not too close to the city but with in reasonable driving distance. Our first priority when going to Cabo was to see some whales and we went on a boat tour to make that happen, we did not get as close as I would have liked but only because the whales did not cooperate. Our flight out on Sunday got canceled so we stayed another night and got up early and had a great breakfast at the upstairs restaurant on property and I think we saw more whales then than when we were on the tour.

The resort had a large cocktail party one night for owners and guests. Music, tapas, cocktails, etc were served and very generous servings of both drinks and food. Great way to meet people. Also there were food demonstrations a couple of times as one of the pool activities. And when they were finished everyone who attended ate what was prepared. Also they had bartender demos also - and everyone there could sample.

the people that worked there were very happy and helpful. My husband accidentally brought the wrong computer charging cord and he planned to do some work. Fernando at the front desk found him one and really saved the day. The complex was beautiful with many swimming pools. We all enjoyed the friendly staff at the zumba, water aerobics, gym, spa, Mexican Bingo, water basketball. The restaurants had great food although they were expensive compared to the U.S. Overall a fantastic vacation, we would definitely come again.

As a trade in ,we were placed on a bottom floor, but we didn't mind as there was grass outside the door where the children could play and watch the hummingbirds and butterflys. We also enjoyed the nearness of the small pool to our rooom for easy access. Different from places ie: Mayan Palace ,where you must walk a long way to pools and beach.

One of the nicest resorts we've been to! An older resort, but well maintained, very clean, and great location. Kitchen great. Not too far from Cabo San Lucas. Not so large that couldn't walk around easily. Not too many kids, and no loud constant music at pools. Food decent; better than most timeshares.

The children's pool area is very nice & right overlooking the ocean. The resort has a turtle program where they protect the eggs and release the turtles. We got to see them dig up some and release them.

We had barely arrived and were having a drink at the bar when a sea turtle came ashore to lay its eggs.
The concern of the entire staff for this creature was truly amazing. They protected her, called a naturalist who explained the habits of the turtle to the gathered crowd and we spent about 2 hours watching a national geographic event in PERSON!

We went snorkling at Cabo Pulmo. It is a National Park about 2 hours from Cabo. It's
not an easy drive (the last 6 miles are on a
dirt road) but it was worth the trip. We got to snorkle with sea lions, lots of reef fish, and also got up close to 2 whales (in the boat)

The staff at Hacienda del Mar is outstanding-they go out of their way to be friendly & helpful. We love Girasoles onsite, especially the Mimosa/Bloody Mary breakfast each morning. Tons of great restaurants & activities in Cabo and great disounts available via Los Cabos Guide. Cabo is the cleanest, safest, and friendliest place in Mexico.

The site is beautiful and I wish a shuttle could have been available to the medrano beach area. If there was one the reception staff did not let us know. In fact, when we arrived they tried to put us in one room instead of the two we had reservaed and paid for. We were also placed in a room which was very far from the beach and amenities.
The housekeeping staff were great. However, the reception staff were really not as welcoming or informative.

we had a beautiful resort we are so glad we went to the Hacienda Del Mar we have been to a lot of resorts and this was one of the best , the staff was great and very friendly and the maid service was great and they supplied all the ammenties we needed with no questions asked and they made you feel like this was your home I would recommend it to anyone for a great relaxing hoilday except we did find that they we too high on meals and drinks so we cooked our own meals and had our drinks in our room but everything was so clean and the resort was so beautiful landscaped we just loved and we would go back again in the future

Beach vendors were pleasant, not pushy.
