WorldMark Grand Palms is a vacationer's paradise ideal for couples, families and groups looking to get away. Relax in spacious, air-conditioned comfort in hotel units that sleep two, one-bedroom units that sleep four to six, ...
The two bedroom unit was very nice, with lots of room. It was very clean, although there was an unfortunate and persistent odour of “dampness” from the secondary shower (we ran the fan continuously and it was still obvious). Love having a washer and dryer, even though the dryer does not seem to vent properly (we had the same experience 19 years ago). The location is excellent; out if the way but close to beaches, national parks, and even Charleston. The ponds allow you to glimpse lots of bird activity from your living room. A great place for those not needing to be entertained within the resort (although there is a spa as well as indoor and outdoor pool). Check in and out was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The resort was perfectly located to ocean and beaches, shopping, and many restaurants. The shuttle was an added bonus. Everything was fantastic except the bed. It was a mattress that should have been replaced a long, long time ago. We actually left two days early because of this. I did notify Management and they said they would send someone over to evaluate the mattress. I hope they did. We would not hesitate to return to this location.

Best presentation to join. Very friendly staff. Good security. Good amenities in unit like washer and dryer, full kitchen. The area is fullof history of the Revolutionary War and the Civil war in Charleston and Savannah--highly recommend both.

We spent most of our time on the beach. The pools were nice though. I am not a golfer, but the single privately owned golf course looked well maintained and the 18 hole cost w/cart of $59 seemed reasonable for the area. The 4 tennis courts looked good, but empty. Good restaurants were not to be found,
