Have been to the Big Island multi[le times, so have done much of the tourist stuff. A new one - at least to us - is the Seahorse Farm Not cheap, but worth it. Very informative. Also the relatively new saddle road makes it much easier and faster to go from Kona to Hilo.

Overall our stay was satisfactory, however we did experience some issues with lack of cleanliness in our unit. This was resolved after a request. We also asked to be moved to an upper unit and this was also resolved after a couple days. We must say the front desk staff at the resort were awesome! Our concerns were always addressed and managed as best they could.
We took a tour to the summit of Mauna Kea that was arranged by the resort and it was very good-a must do!!

Lovely resort and
very helpful staff.
Kids were thrilled when dolphins surrounded them in the bay near the place of refuge. Also got to see manta rays near our condo. Both at no cost!

Location of resort was excellent - just a few miles into downtown Kona for shopping and restaurants and just a few miles to wonderful snorkeling, hiking and beaches. Resort was beautiful and grounds were well maintained. There was safe, underground parking and it was a very peaceful place to stay. All the staff were extremely friendly and cheerful. It was great to have 2 bathrooms in a one bedroom unit!!!

We saw 3 roaches in the kitchen area. Non-daily maid service is a problem; we have to take out the trash. The clean-up was only done once during our stay and not very well done. We will not go back to this same resort!
